TYPE OF GRASS....................................................................... 1) BUFFALO.............................R90/m2 2 )KIKUYU ...............................R35/m2 3 )CYNODONE ......................R60/m2 4 )LM BEREA ...................................R90/m2 5 )GULF GREEN ..................................R60/m2 STEPS TAKEN BEFORE GRASS IS INSTALLED • LAND PREPARATION: Basically this includes the digging out of of old grass and/or any foreign plants.If the ground is bare we will just dig it to loosen the soil to prepare the soil for the easy penetration of roots of the newly planted grass • LEVELING OF THE GROUND: All unwanted grass that has been dug out will be racked using a steel rack.Finally we will use a soft plastic rack to take out all the pebbles left by the steel rack.We will make sure that the soil is well spread evenly to maintain ground levelness. • MIXING AND APPLICATION OF NUTRIENTS : For the roll -on lawns to grow healthy with strong roots,rich compost which is completely natural must be applied just before the installation of the grass. • LAWN INSTALLATION : Ground will first be watered to help the grass absorbs nutrients as soon as it gets installed. • ROLLING : The roller is used to flatten the ground on which the new grass has been installed.We also use the roller to help compact the grass into the soil and avoid the lifting of the grass from the ground and expose the roots. • TIDYING UP THE SITE: When all work is finished the last thing to do is to leave trhe working site as presentable as possible.All rubbish will be loaded on one of our trucks to be taken to the dumping site.
