They have increased the stake money of this prestigious horse race to 5 Million Rand making it the riches horse race in Africa.
The Met represents the oldest and grandest event on the South African entertainment calendar. Sun International promise that they will bring elegance, sophistication, glamour and excitement to the event, and there will be so much more that race goers can now look forward to.

The VIP Suite Hospitality package is the BEST hospitality facility the SUN Met offers and the facility cater for 30 guests, it is on the 2nd Floor and have a retractable awning. The Hospitality Suite at the SUN Met is your own Private, Exclusive venue to entertain your guests to. The venue can be booked as a private venue or can also be shared by groups of people. The balcony look out onto the finish line.
