The very first re-edition Carrera models of the late nineties are the most important models in TAGHeuer's modern history. Was it not for its success, the company might just have shelved all future plans to release more remakes of their historic models and moved on to develop more contemporary models. The brand's subsequent success with this re-edition is now enshrined in history. Today it would be difficult to imagine TAGHeuer without the modern Carreras and Monacos in their line-up. We really do owe so much to this ground-breaking Carrera.
